연세대학교 학부 또는 대학원, 연합신학대학원 출신으로 성서학 박사학위를 소지하고 국내외 신학계 혹은 교계에서 활발히 활동 중인 학자들이 집필진으로 구성되었습니다. 연세 출신으로 교파를 넘어 국내외에서 활동하는 학자들이 하나님의 말씀을 주석하기 위해 함께 모이면서, 하나님의 말씀으로 하나가 되는 진정한 의미의 에큐메니칼의 현장이 된 것도 이 주석의 의의이자 기쁨입니다.
사도바울은 이렇게 감탄을 한 적이 있습니다. “깊도다 하나님의 지혜와 지식의 풍성함이여, 그의 판단은 헤아리지 못할 것이며 그의 길은 찾지 못할 것이로다 누가 주의 마음을 알았느냐 누가 그의 모사가 되었느냐”(롬 11:33-34). 하나님의 지혜와 지식의 풍성함을 인간의 언어로 풀어내려는 『연세신학백주년기념 성경주석』이 결실을 맺어, 하나님의 진리가 올바로 전달되고 그의 백성이 생명의 지식을 얻게 되기를 소망합니다.
Introducing <Yonsei Theology’s 100th Anniversary Bible Commentary Set>
Yonsei School of Theology celebrates its 100th year of its founding, and in its commemoration, the <Yonsei Theology’s 100th Anniversary Bible Commentary Set> is published. The purpose of the commentary is to serve the Korean church and find answers to many problems that the country holds, by achieving the true meaning of Ecumenical theology. In order to promote healthy/balanced theology and faith, the commentary focuses on sharing the theological significance of today's messages to pastors and lay leaders of the Korean church. We are confident that the commentary will help Korea’s preachers and believers in studying the Bible in reflection of today’s latest research.
The commentary is a product of Yonsei University alumni from its undergraduate, graduate, United graduate school of Theology program, and scholars with doctoral degrees in Biblical studies. Many scholars have come together to overcome the boundaries of denominations, and ultimately attain the purpose of proclaiming God’s Word. The publication played a role of gathering every individual into one unity to truly gain the ecumenical goal.
Apostle Paul once said in admiration, “Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out! “Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counselor?” (Romans 11:33-34)
We hope that interpreting God’s abounding wisdom and knowledge into human language through <Yonsei Theology’s 100th Anniversary Bible Commentary Set> may bear fruit.
